Tim Hortons has brewed up controversy by yanking ads by pipeline giant Enbridge from its in-store screens. The coffee chain told Twitter users the spots will no longer air on Tims T-V. About 29-thousand people have signed an online petition pressing Tims to cut ties with the oilsands shipper. But the move angered supporters of Canada's oil industry. Allison Johnson is a professor at Western University in London, Ontario. She says Tim Hortons shouldn't have associated itself with such a divisive brand. (Enbridge says it enjoyed working with Tims, but it respects the decision.)
