Preview Clip

Police suspect a man who was the focus of a lengthy hate-crimes investigation is responsible for killing an Edmonton policeman and wounding a second officer. Constable Daniel Woodall was shot last night while executing an arrest warrant at a home in a residential neighbourhood. The second officer, Sergeant Jason Harley, was shot in the lower back but was wearing body armour and was treated and released from hospital. Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson (EYE-veh-son) was emotional today when discussing Woodall's death, saying as mayor he reflects the sadness felt by the community. (Police have identified the suspect as Norman Walter Raddatz. It's believed the 42-year-old died in the house when it went up in flames after the shooting.)
