Manitoba has introduced a law which would crack down on those who distribute intimate photos without consent. Attorney General Gord Mackintosh told the legislature the law would allow those victimized by the distribution of intimate photos to sue for damages. The province would also partner with the Canadian Centre for Child Protection to establish a tipline. (The federal government recently changed the Criminal Code to make it illegal to distribute intimate images without consent.)
