National Energy Board chairman Peter Watson says he expects to make a decision in the fall on whether to require pipeline companies to disclose more details of their emergency response plans. He has launched public consultations into the issue that close at the end of June. (Companies are currently only required to disclose their full emergency response plans with first responders, not with the public.)
