A neighbour of the man suspected of fatally shooting an Edmonton police officer was standing on his deck Monday night before shots rang out. Ryan Colton says police knocked on the door and announced their presence at least three times before trying to force the door. That's when all hell broke loose. Colton says he helped a wounded sergeant. (Constable Daniel Woodall was killed by the gunfire. A body believed to be that of the shooter was found in the burned-out home.)
