Jane Fonda says she supports B-C First Nations who are opposing Kinder Morgan's proposed Trans Mountain pipeline expansion. The Academy Award-winning actress was in Vancouver yesterday to attend a Greenpeace rally -- and she predicted the expansion will fail. (The expansion would bring 890-thousand barrels of bitumen from Alberta's oil sands to B-C's coast every day, and increase tanker traffic seven-fold. The 77-year old Fonda says she intends to devote the rest of her life to stopping fossil fuel production. She believes it's necessary to slow down global warming.)
