Parks Canada says controversial development guidelines for a ski resort in Banff National Park still leave plenty of room for environmental concerns. Spokeswoman Melanie Kwong says the guidelines lay out a general direction for development at Lake Louise, but specific proposals will still be carefully reviewed and subject to public comment. (Environmental groups are concerned the guidelines will force Parks Canada to approve projects in the future. The deadline for public comment on the proposal is Sunday.)
