Canadian government computer servers were hit by a cyberattack yesterday. The shadowy Anonymous online collective posted a video on YouTube claiming responsibility as a protest against the federal anti-terrorism bill. Public Safety Minister Steven Blaney says no personal information was compromised. He says the Harper government takes cyber-security very seriously, which is why there are three pillars involved in its prevention strategy. (Blaney says there's no confirmation that Anonymous is behind the attack and says it's up to law enforcement to make that determination.)
