There's been another body blow to the already reeling Senate. Published allegations that Senator Don Meredith was having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl have been referred to the Senate ethics officer. Meredith resigned from the Conservative caucus last night. Conservative Senator Vern White says there are several avenues if the allegations are proven true. (Liberal Senator Jim Munson says the story has left him at a loss for words.)
