Preview Clip

Over the past three-and-a-half months RCMP have linked 18 shootings in the Vancouver suburb of Surrey to a dispute between two groups vying for control of street level drug sales. And a local teenager now participating in an anti-gangs program says he knows about their world. The 18-year-old, whose voice has been altered, says many youth involved in the turf war have been drawn in by the perceived gangster lifestyle. (Police have stepped up enforcement since the shootings began in March and have charged seven people so far, but say it's been difficult to quell the gunfire.)
