A Mountie who pulled over a speeding car in southern Alberta has made an unusual discovery. Sergeant Darrin Turnbull says he walked up to the car as it was stopped on a street in Airdrie and started talking to the driver. Thats when he noticed a moving cardboard box in the back seat. (Turnbull says the driver told him the preschooler had refused to ride in a proper car seat. He says the adult, who should have been in charge, ended up with a 167-dollar speeding ticket and must also appear in court on a charge of failing to properly secure a child in a motor vehicle.)
