The Atlantic provinces have signed an agreement aimed at making it easier for apprentices to have their training recognized across the region. The plan announced in Charlottetown yesterday means work experience and training hours completed in one Atlantic province will be recognized in the entire region. New Brunswick Premier Brian Gallant says the plan will simplify the apprenticeship process. (Provincial leaders say the agreement is the first of its kind in Canada.)
