Emergency officials in Saskatchewan say wind could pose a problem today for a large fire near the town of La Ronge. Fires and smoke have forced about nine-thousand people from their homes in more than 50 communities in the northern part of the province. Steve Roberts is with Saskatchewan Wildfire Management. He says the fire north of La Ronge is considered stable. (Residents were evacuated last weekend from La Ronge, one of the largest communities in the region. About 450 soldiers are getting basic firefighting training and are to be deployed to fire zones by Wednesday morning.)
