Canada and Brazil played to a 7-7 tie in women's water polo action at the Pan Am Games. Competition started today -- three days before the opening ceremonies -- so that the tournament will wrap in time for this month's world championships. It was a disappointing result for eighth-ranked Canada, which has had success against 14th-ranked Brazil in the past. Canadian centre back Christine Robinson says errors proved costly.
