Crews continue to hold protective lines around communities threatened by wildfires in northern Saskatchewan as the province braces for more hot, dry weather. About 360 soldiers are helping by digging up hot spots and plowing through dense brush and blackened trees around Montreal Lake and La Ronge. Saskatchewan Minister of Government Relations, Jim Reiter (WRITE'-er), says the help from the military is welcomed. (The government estimates more than 10-thousand people have been forced from their homes and will not be allowed to return until conditions are safe.)
