Crews continue to hold protective lines around communities threatened by wildfires in northern Saskatchewan as the province braces for more hot, dry weather. About 360 soldiers are helping by digging up hot spots and plowing through dense brush and blackened trees around Montreal Lake and La Ronge. Federal Public Safety Minister Steven Blaney says they are aware that there are forest fires in B-C and Alberta, but they haven't gotten any requests for help from those provinces. (Steve Roberts with Saskatchewan Wildfire Management says the warm, dry conditions and shifting winds could cause more trouble spots. He says the province is looking for more firefighters and equipment from across the country and the United States.)
