Federal finance Minister Joe Oliver isn't committing himself either way on what impact the lifting of Iranian sanctions would have on the price of oil. Experts have warned the Islamic republic's nuclear agreement could result in an increase in global oil supply, thereby pushing back any recovery. Oliver says oil has been buffeted by the Greek financial crisis and other factors and he's not going to issue any forecasts when it comes to volatile commodity prices. (The historic deal reached between Iran and six world powers has opened the door to Iranian oil again flowing freely on world markets. Increased sanctions in 2012 cut a million barrels a day from the country's exports.)
