The lawyer for Robert Dziekanski's (zhih-KAN'-ski's) mother says the public's trust in the RCMP has been shaken by the conviction and jail sentence handed to a former Mountie. Monty Robinson has been sentenced to two years in jail for lying at a public inquiry into Dziekanski's death. Lawyer Walter Kosteckyj (kus-tet-ski) says police cause problems for the entire justice system when they decide not to be truthful.
