Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil has shuffled his cabinet to reintroduce a minister who resigned three months ago. Andrew Younger was sworn in as Environment Minister in a ceremony at the legislature today. Younger resigned from the energy portfolio in March to take a leave of absence after a woman was charged with assaulting him. McNeil says he's comfortable having Younger back in cabinet. (Younger's return to cabinet moves Randy Delorey from environment to finance and Diana Whalen from finance to justice. Backbencher Lloyd Hines has been sworn in as the only new member of cabinet, taking over the natural resources porfolio.)
