NDP Leader Tom Mulcair made his campaign-trail debut in Montreal today, telling supporters Prime Minister Stephen Harper is out of touch with the needs of Canadians. Harper has warned an NDP government would boost corporate tax rates and turn our economy into one that looks like Greece. But Mulcair admits while he would bring in a slight tax increase for the largest corporations -- he would cut tax rates for small and medium businesses because they drive job creation. (Mulcair says Harper's government has created mainly low paid, precarious part-time jobs.)
