It could take some time before police get the potent drug fentanyl off the streets. Investigators believe gangs are importing raw powder from China, pressing it into pills and selling it in Alberta and British Columbia. But Mike Tucker, who is a spokesman with the ALERT integrated unit in Alberta, says national investigations take time. (Police in Metro Vancouver have linked four overdose deaths to fentanyl over the past two weeks.)
