Preview Clip

A longtime Manitoba cabinet minister is calling it quits. Peter Bjornson (BYORN'-son) is resigning his legislature seat effective immediately, eight months before the next election. Bjornson says his decision is not related to the leadership battle that Premier Greg Selinger survived earlier this year. (Bjornson served a decade in cabinet. He has suffered back trouble but says his decision to leave is personal -- to spend more time with his family. He also says he has no new job lined up.)
