Liberal leader Justin Trudeau is not disappointed that he did not receive the support of one of Quebec's largest and sovereigntist-leaning labour unions. NDP leader Tom Mulcair says the FTQ has dropped its long-standing endorsement of the Bloc Quebecois and favours his party. But during a campaign stop in Montreal, Trudeau distanced himself from the powerful labour group. (The FTQ has officially supported the Bloc Quebecois in almost every federal election since the early 1990s. And a union spokesperson says the central office isn't officially supporting any party this time around but that locals are endorsing the NDP.)
