A new bulletin released by the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse recommends jurisdictions across Canada co-operate to tackle lethal fentanyl. Health officials across the country are dealing with rising overdoses from the powerful opioid but not yet working together. British Columbia's deputy provincial health officer Doctor Bonnie Henry says the problem needs a co-ordinated effort. (The bulletin says many of the hundreds of overdoses since 2009 have occurred among people who didn't know they took fentanyl.)
