There's a rare sight slithering around Metro Vancouver conservation area. City of Burnaby staff spotted a ball python on Burnaby Mountain on Monday. City parks director Dave Ellenwood says someone likely abandoned their pet snake in the park. (Ellenwood says staff tried to capture the snake using a plastic container, but it is still on the loose.)
