An Indonesian court has overturned convictions against Canadian teacher Neil Bantleman and an Indonesian teaching assistant who were serving 10 years in prison for sexually abusing three young children at a prestigious international school in Jakarta. Bantleman's brother, Guy, says they are now awaiting a decision from the prosecution on whether to appeal, but doesn't believe one will be filed. (Bantleman and his co-accused were convicted in April of violating Indonesia's child protection law. They maintained their innocence and appealed. Bantleman, of Burlington, Ontario has contended the process used to convicted him was corrupt.)
