An aggressive wildfire burning east of Osoyoos, B-C, has destroyed at least one home. Provincial Forests Minister Steve Thomson says the Rock Creek fire has burned several structures, but smoke an active fire have kept crews from assessing what, exactly, has been lost. (The fire has forced residents from nearly 300 properties to run, and about 200 campers from a provincial park have been evacuated.)
