There were more tense exchanges today between the prime minister's former chief of staff and the lawyer for Mike Duffy at the senator's fraud, breach of trust and bribery trial in Ottawa. Canadian Press reporter Terry Pedwell says a lot of questions have been raised about why so many people in the prime minister's office were prepared to do one thing, and tell the public something else, about the payback of Duffy's expenses. (Duffy has pleaded not guilty to 31 charges including bribery, breach of trust and fraud.)
