Stephen Harper says a re-elected Conservative government would reintroduce its so-called "Life Means Life" legislation, which died when Parliament dissolved. The Conservatives originally introduced the legislation this spring. Harper made the announcement in the Toronto riding of Etobicoke-Centre this morning. (The Conservatives say the legislation would address murders involving sexual assault, kidnapping, terrorism, and the killing of police officers or corrections offers. It would also apply to those convicted of high treason.)
