The Chiefs of Ontario have signed a political accord with the provincial government that affirms First Nations have an inherent right to self-government. Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day says one of the big issues to be tackled is how to enforce Treaty rights and obligations when they are broken. (Premier Kathleen Wynne says the accord is an important step in revitalizing First Nations communities, but admits in some cases the relationship with government will have to be built almost from scratch.)
