A tracking dog is part of a search taking place near Truro, Nova Scotia, as police continue to investigate the alleged murder of a young physics student whose remains have yet to be found. Halifax police spokeswoman Theresa Rath says the search is connected to the death of 22-year-old Taylor Samson. She says the public has provided some useful leads, but police are asking people to refrain from offering speculation. (William Michael Sandeson, a prospective medical student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, was charged with first-degree murder on Thursday, four days after Samson was reported missing.)
