Stock markets in North America were restless today after days of volatility. Observers in Canada are increasingly looking to the Bank of Canada to see what it will do after it cut its key lending interest rate earlier this year. But Craig Jerusalim, a portfolio manager with CIBC Asset Management, says he doesn't expect Canada's central bank to make any decisions before the US Federal Reserve, which has signalled it could begin raising its key interest rate for the first time in nearly a decade as early as this year. (Markets around the globe have been in flux for more than a week after big drops in China's main market.)
