Liberal leader Justin Trudeau is in Montreal today, where once again the Mike Duffy affair arose. Trudeau was asked to react to a CTV story that Stephen Harper's current chief of staff never knew that former chief of staff Nigel Wright wrote a cheque for 90 thousand dollars to cover Senator Duffy's expenses. At Duffy's fraud trial former PMO staffer Ben Perrin said Novak was on a conference call when the cheque was discussed. But Novak has told CTV he did not know about it. (Trudeau added it lacks credulity that Ray Novak knew nothing about the cheque.)
