The Nova Scotia government will spend 1.65 million dollars to renovate an old health clinic at the Roseway Hospital. The plan is to turn the Shelburne facility into a primary care collaborative centre to be staffed by family physicians and other health professionals. Premier Stephen McNeil says services at the clinic will be tailored to fit the community's specific needs. (McNeil says the Shelburne clinic will help in local doctor recruitment because it will utilize family medicine residents on placement from Dalhousie University.)
