Preview Clip

Toronto Mayor John Tory says he didn't ask Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne to cover any cost over-runs if the city decides to bid on the 2024 summer Olympics. Tory says there are still too many questions about the costs and potential benefits of hosting the Olympics, so he didn't ask the premier for any specifics when they met today. (Tory has only one week before he must decide whether to sign a letter of intent stating Toronto will bid for the 2024 summer games.)

Transcript Prediction: << I can't give her a number that I think it's going to cost to put on these Olympics cuz that number no changes depending on what you can reuse and what you can't so this is what we're working very hard in the time available to try and find but I think it would not have been reasonable for me to come to say to her we're just signed a blank check and I think a lot of people would be disappointed if she did but I can assure you she did not >>
