At a late-afternoon campaign stop in Vancouver Liberal leader Justin Trudeau asked what specifically can be done to speed up the process of bringing Syrian refugees to Canada. He says while there is a need to ensure security protocols are respected, that can be accelerated by hiring more case workers. (Trudeau also says while Canada needs to do more for refugees -- we should still be involved in training Iraqis to fight the extremists. That position runs counter to NDP leader Tom Mulcair, who has said he would pull Canada out of the fight against Islamic State militants.)
