Nova Scotia's labour minister says the impending closure in November of a small Halifax production studio is the fault of the previous NDP government. Kelly Regan says the decision to close by Egg Studios is the result of the first contract arbitration law brought in by the New Democrats. (Regan says the matter was dealt with by the courts and there's nothing more the government can do for the company, although she says her department will do what it can to help the 20 workers affected by the closure find new employment.)
