"Room" has won the top prize at the Toronto International Film Festival. The Canadian-Irish drama, directed by Lenny Abrahamson and starring Brie Larson and Vancouver's Jacob Tremblay, won the Grolsch People's Choice Award. "Room" producer David Gross says the award is particularly exciting because the film was shot on Canadian soil. (Festival director Piers Handling said the balloting on the prize was "very, very close.")
