Mohamed Fahmy is filled with ideas for his future as a free man. The Canadian journalist who spent nearly two years fighting widely denounced terror charges in Egypt received a presidential pardon and was set free yesterday. While in prison, he developed a charter of rights for journalists in Egypt and wants to present the document to the president who pardoned him before he leaves the country. (Fahmy plans to return to Canada in the coming days and will be settling in Vancouver with his wife.)
