A new survey suggests about half of Albertans not only support a carbon tax, they would be willing to pay it. Simon Dyer of the Pembina Institute, which commissioned the poll, says the result is in line with what he expected. (The survey also found strong support for renewable energy and tight regulations on greenhouse gases. The poll, conducted by EKOS Research, is considered accurate 19 times out of 20.)
