A new survey suggests strong support for tougher climate change legislation in Alberta. Simon Dyer of the Pembina Institute, which commissioned the poll, says it shows Albertans are willing to move on the issue, even when the oil and gas industry is in a downturn. (The poll, conducted by EKOS Research, concluded that half of Albertans support a carbon tax, even if it were imposed on individuals as well as corporations.)
