Simon Dyer of the Pembina Institute, which commissioned the poll, says it shows Albertans are willing to move on the issue, even when the oil and gas industry is in a downturn. (The poll, conducted by EKOS Research, concluded that half of Albertans support a carbon tax, even if it were imposed on individuals as well as corporations.)
