The man accused in the murder of a two-year-old and her father in southwestern Alberta earlier this month has been ordered to undergo a 30-day psychiatric assessment. Patrick Edgerton is with the Edmonton law firm representing 22-year-old Derek Saretzky. He says there are two reasons to take this step. (Terry Blanchette was found dead in his Blairmore, Alberta, home more than two weeks ago. The body of his daughter, Hailey Dunbar-Blanchette, was found in a rural area the next day.)
