Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil says the fate of a metal fabrication plant is not clear even though the province has a 49 per cent stake in the facility. McNeil says he doesn't know if Korean-owned Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Limited is seeking a new owner for the Trenton plant or if it's planning to shut it down. (McNeil was responding to a media report that the owners are getting rid of inventory in preparation for a shutdown.)
