Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau says his government would start re-engaging Canada with the world by signing a landmark global treaty to regulate the arms trade. The federal government has refused to sign the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty, citing concerns over how it would affect gun owners. Trudeau called that an example of how Prime Minister Harper is increasingly making Canada go it alone in the world. (Trudeau made the remarks in London, Ontario this morning and is scheduled to take his campaign later in the day to New Brunswick.)
