Preview Clip

Natural Gas Development Minister Rich Coleman is squelching reports out of Malaysia that the proposed 36-billion dollar liquefied natural gas project near Prince Rupert could face delays of almost a decade. Coleman says he recently met with officials from the Petronas-backed Pacific NorthWest LNG project. He says federal environmental approval and the federal election are the only hurdles holding up start of the development. (Pacific NorthWest LNG is not commenting on reports of the delay, but says in a statement the B-C project remains full steam ahead.)
