Alberta Premier Rachel Notley has delivered her first big speech to Calgary's business community since the NDP's election victory in May. Her remarks come as the city grapples with layoffs resulting from a steep drop in crude oil prices. Derek Fildebrandt is the finance critic for the Opposition Wildrose party. He says it wasn't appropriate for Notley to mention her support for the federal NDP in her speech. (Notley says she'll work with whomever is prime minister after October 19th.)
