The CEO responsible for the mass firings of parking lot cashiers at Rexall Place in Edmonton over theft allegations is defending the decision. Tim Reid says he doesn't know if anyone in management faces sanctions, but he admits mistakes were made. (Reid is the CEO for Northlands. Northlands fired 38 cashiers after audits revealed about 20 per cent of parking fees were either being pocketed or not charged, adding up to a million dollars a year in losses.)
