The sergeant-at-arms at the Saskatchewan legislature says his counterparts from across Canada will meet to discuss security. Patrick Shaw says they are to gather in Quebec City next week, along with clerks and Speakers, to look at standardizing security at legislatures across the country. Shaw says that could include metal detectors. (Shaw says there needs to be a balance between controlled access and still allowing people into the building.)
