Canadian expats living in Puerto Vallarta (PWEHR'-toh vah-YAHR'-tah), Mexico are bracing for the arrival a major hurricane. Hurricane Patricia is poised to make landfall tonight and has been described by US officials as "potentially catastrophic." Former Steinbach, Manitoba, native Larry Kehler owns a cafe in the Mexican resort community and wonders how bad it will be hit. (Foreign Affairs says 500 Canadians are currently registered as being in the affected state of Jalisco, but estimated the true number is closer to two-thousand.)
