A 14-year-old girl who didn't want her soccer team to be sponsored by a fish farming company has been kicked off the team. The decision by the Upper Island Riptide is creating waves with Freyja (FRAY'-jah) Reed's mother Anissa, who says she and her daughter want to support companies such as Marine Harvest. Sean Arbour, a committee member of the club, says repeated code of conduct breaches meant the girl had to be cut from the team because of feedback from other parents. (Florida Panthers player and salmon farming opponent Willie Mitchell has weighed in, saying he'll sponsor the team himself.)
